PRESS RELEASE – NATIONAL DRAMA OF ESEKA
SPECIAL CAMPAIGN FOR URGENT AND PATRIOTIC BLOOD DONATION
Following the tragedy that struck our people Friday, October 21, 2016 and for which we deplore dozens of deaths, hundreds injured and missing people, I reiterate my deep and sincere condolences to the bereaved families, and my wishes of speedy recovery to the wounded, my solidarity with their families and families of the missing people.
I humbly commend the brave and courageous people and authorities of ESEKA who, without means and considering the failure of all the competent national authorities, particularly the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, the Ministry of Public health, gave the entire nation a great reason to believe in the future of our people.
To follow in their shoes, I invite all members and supporters of the CRM, but also the entire Cameroonian people, hurt and painful , to get up as one man and go to the appropriate hospitals, including Yaoundé (Central Hospital, Military Hospital), Douala (l Laquintinie Hospital), and regional hospitals to give their blood in order to patriotically save the hundreds of wounded whose life depends only on national solidarity .
In Douala and Yaounde in particular, actions are already undertaken by our militants; I encourage and urge them to intensify this special blood donation campaign.
